Now available in the British Medical Journal, Global Health: An analysis on limited sterile processing capabilities in the Republic of Congo, Madagascar and Benin.
Training-of-Trainers (ToT) Program Launched
A well received extension of our ‘Basics of Sterilization’ program. The ToT course gives trainers an opportunity to refine their educator skills by demonstrating competencies and receiving feedback from their partners.
Mercy Ships Canada funded SPECT to continue the development of our low resource sterilization unit. 60 sterilizers were distributed to 29 health centres in Benin with staff already reporting a decrease in infections.
