If you are looking to volunteer internationally, we do require that you have some experience in healthcare, and prior experience working in resource constrained countries. If you have a teaching or administrative background… there may still be a role for you!
The time required depends on which program you choose to participate in. If you are volunteering with an international team, the average time commitment is 2-3 weeks. If you are supporting SPECT in Canada/US, then time commitments may vary anywhere from 1-8 hours per week.
Depending upon the nature of the work and available funding, expenses may be covered. Please contact us directly to find out more if you are considering volunteering overseas with SPECT.
