Meet our team

With over 17 years in sterile processing, Christina has trained healthcare workers around the world, driven by her passion for improving surgical safety. In 2011, she co-founded SPECT after recognizing a critical gap in sterile processing education. As Executive Director, she wears many hats—curriculum developer, program coordinator, trainer, and visionary leader.

With 30+ years in healthcare, including acute care and academia, Olive brings a wealth of experience to SPECT. A former nursing professor at Mount Royal University, she now provides leadership and strategic direction as Chair of the Board.

Jane has spent over 35 years in the non-profit sector, specializing in fundraising, volunteer management, and donor stewardship. She met Christina while leading the sterile processing team for Mercy Ships and has been involved with SPECT since day one. As Secretary, she helps guide SPECT’s mission and operations.
